Particular experience in the opening of new sites, creating efficient operating procedures, menu design, branding, and the hiring of all types of restaurant staff. During this period he has also dealt with all types of economic cycles, offline and online campaigns, local authority governance and bureaucracy, plus the buying and selling of various establishments.

1982 – Founded Cibitalia, a business selling and distributing Spaghetti House branded ready meals to UK multiples and achieved national distribution on Sainsburys, Tesco, Waitrose and ASDA
1986 – Managing Director of Spaghetti House Holdings
1989 – Sold Cibitalia
1990 – Board member of London First, Chaired by Sir John Egan. Chairman of Fitzrovia Today. Was instrumental in getting Fitzrovia embossed on maps of London. Influential in the introduction of Business Improvement Districts in London and the UK
1999 – De-merged Getti Restaurants out of Spaghetti House into a wholly owned business during which Sir Paul Girolami (Ex-Chairman of Glaxo PLC) was Chairman of the Board of Spaghetti House
Metropolitan Restaurants
1999 – Opened first Getti restaurant in Istanbul, Turkey
2000 – Opened second Getti Restaurant in Marylebone High Street
2001 – Opened third and fourth Getti Restaurants in Jermyn Street
and Wardour Street
2005 – Opened Brera in Welbeck Street,
2006 – Sold Brera to landlords
2016 – Zia Teresa restaurant in Knightsbridge celebrated 60 years of continuous trading and ownership
2021 – Sold to San Carlo Group
